Irish Alcohol...

The other day I was sitting at the lunch table reminiscing about a past trip to Dublin, Ireland. I was reminded of the myriad of new beers I was introduced to. Thanks to the trip Guinness is now one of my favorite beers. I also learned about other drinks like an Irish Car Bomb and the most intriguing-An Irish Flag. The Irish Flag is such an interesting drink because in the shot glass sits 3 liquid colors which don't mix. The Irish Flag is orange, white, and green. The Irish Flag drink contains 1/3 tequila, 1/3 Bailey's, and 1/3 Jameson. Which just considering the ingredients, one would believe the drink would be unbearable, but after taking countless Irish Flags on the trip, I have come to realize that all you taste is the Baileys. I highly recommend this drink for Saint Patrick's Day.

The people in Dublin are very friendly too. One nights, after way too many pints of Guinness, my friends and I were talking to a guy, who picked up on our American accents. He turned out to be in charge of North American advertising for Guinness. Most of his day is spent stationed at the Guinness storehouse. The Guinness storehouse is one of Dublin's main attractions. The Gravity Bar, which is one of the highest points in the city, sits on top. This is considered to be the best pint of Guinness in the world. So next time your looking to just kick back and drink a cold one, think about opening a nice cold can of Guinness.
